AEO - ALPI Servizio Moda

ALPI Servizio Moda, the logistics division of the ALPI group, has obtained the authorization as "approved place for the presentation of goods and used as temporary storage", conferred by the Customs Agency - Prato Headquarters, in compliance with the European customs regulations recently introduced.

AEO authorization guarantees more security for the goods and increases the competitiveness of the logistics operator on the market.

After an in-depth evaluation process, the Customs Office gave its approval, as ALPI Servizio Moda owns the standard required, from the practical knowledge of the management procedures to the requirements of safety, compliance and tax obligations.

The AEO (Authorized Economic Operator) qualification is the highest recognition that the Customs Authority could confer to a company and, from 2020 the AEO certification will become a necessary requirement for all international logistics operators.

"In an industry where regulations are constantly changing and where the skills and professionalism required are increasingly important, we are pleased to have received this accreditation," says Lorenzo Albini, Sole Director of ALPI Servizio Moda, "Our goal is to make continuous improvements to the company sites, in terms of innovations, technologies, and security to satisfy our customers more and more."
