The Founder and Managing Director of ALPI over the last 26 years, Niels Arne Markussen, has decided to give space to a new management.
The board of ALPI has known for some time that Niels Arne Markussen was planning to retire and they have now appointed a new Managing Director from within the company – Kjeld Tygesen.
Member of ALPIs board, Edoardo Albini informs: -Niels Arne Markussen has, since the start of ALPI Denmark in 1992, built up a company with nearly 200 employees in Denmark. He leaves ALPI after a year with record high profit as well as a brand new domicile in Hammerum. I have the biggest respect for his performance over the many years and are pleased to see that he leaves to the new management a company in absolute top shape, says Edoardo Albini.
Kjeld Tygesen (52 years old) will on 1st May start as Managing Director for ALPI, that has their headquarter in Herning and branches in Greve, Odense, and Padborg.
Kjeld Tygesen has been with ALPI for 5 years. He has been part of the management group in ALPI for some years and has also been responsible for ALPIs Nordic activities.
With the appointment of Kjeld Tygesen, the board wishes to secure the continued development of ALPI with a person that is familiar with the culture and the values of the company.
John Blæsbjerg continues as Managing Director for ALPI Air & Sea.
Kjeld Tygesen and John Blæsbjerg will be the Directors in ALPI Denmark for the future.
